The original Swede-O ankle brace has stainless steel spiral stays are built into the medial and lateral sides of the brace for extra support. The full elastic back is comfortable against the achilles tendon and virtually eliminates the chance for blistering. Removable side stabilizer inserts are included to provide additional ankle support. The stabilizers may be placed in the medial and lateral pockets on each side of the brace. Heavy duty triple vinyl construction is extremely durable, provides correct ankle support and fits comfortably in most athletic shoes.
